Skeeith2

This art was commissioned to me by my good friend and talented artist Jon Mahnke. I publish this with his permission to my page. The Skeeith is a creature from my novel series The Heirs. In my novels, Skeeith is a word of the elder tongue which translates roughly to servant. When discovered by men, a misunderstanding took place and the men took the creature's name to be Servant calling it by that title hence forth. When men learned of its true name, Skeeith, it was given a more gruesome translation of "demon" which more closely related their present relationship with the creatures.
